Ingredients

How to make it

  • For Crust

  • In medium glass bowl, combine all crust ingredients using the cutting method, or, better yet, just use your hands! :) Continue until well blended and the mixture stays together if pressed between your fingers. See Photo
  • Press into bottom of greased 9X13 pan and bake, at 350 for about 12 minutes. See Photo
  • For Base

  • In food processor or quality blender, blend oats and pecans until very finely chopped. See Photo
  • In mixing bowl, mix eggs until frothy and add sugar, honey and vanilla and mix to combine. See Photo
  • Add salt, baking powder, oats and pecans and fold until all combined. See Photo
  • Pour over crust and bake about 20-25 minutes until golden brown and custard is no longer liquidy, but set. See Photo
  • Let cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. See Photo

Not to change your recipe, but if I substitute gluten-free crushed pretzels for the graham crckers, this would be gluten-free....and using certified gf oats, of course! I'm going to try this! Hope you don't mind my changes!

Okay....you're killing me here. Trying to do the Power walk on the old treadmill and here you are flogging the Streusel bars. Not fair!! Looks delish. Great post as always.
