Herb Marinated Grilled Chicken

- 1/3 cup olive oil shopping list
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 1/3 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/3 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 1/3 tsp rosemary shopping list
- 1/3 tsp sage shopping list
- 1/3 tsp oregano shopping list
- 1/3 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/3 tsp onion powder shopping list
- handful fresh basil, torn/chopped shopping list
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (halves), cleaned & patted dry shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first 10 ingredients in a glass mixing bowl/dish and whisk together until mixed well. Place chicken in dish, cover, and place in refrigerator. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes but as long as you so choose (I'd suggest no more than 12 hours).
- When ready to cook prepare your indoor grill by adding about 1/4 cup of water to the drip tray along with a few drops of liquid smoke. Preheat grill to high, once temperature is achieved place chicken on grill & cover. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip and recover. After 5 minutes, flip & turn temperature to medium. Cook for 3 minutes, flip, recover & allow to cook for another 3 minutes. Remove from grill & serve.
- **Please note this can be done on an outdoor grill or broiler.
