Grilled Chicken In A Peanut Pasta Bowl

- 1 handful of angel hair pasta (1 inch diameter) shopping list
- 1 bunch broccoli florets shopping list
- 4 oz Grilled chicken, Purdue Short Cuts, shopping list
- 3 Tb asian peanut sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 Tb chopped red bell pepper shopping list
How to make it
- This recipe is for one. Adjust it accordingly.
- Cut the florets from a small bunch of broccoli. Add to a pot with a 1/2 inch water plus a sprinkle of salt. Cover and bring to a boil to briefly steam.
- In a 2 qt pot, boil 1 qt water plus 1 tsp salt to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook to your desired consistency.
- Place the chicken on a paper plate and heat 30-40 seconds in the microwave.
- When the pasta is done, drain. Add 3 Tb peanut sauce and stir. Peanut sauces differ in flavor, so choose one you are familiar with an appreciate.
- Add the steamed florets and the chopped red bell pepper.
- Serve.
