Michelle And Nates Wedding Punch Recipe

Michelle And Nates Wedding Punch Recipe
This has been a family favorite for many years, and my daughter requested it to be served when she and Nate were married. It's so refreshing, and very easy to prepare - just have the soda well chilled beforehand. It can easily be spiked with rum or... More

Ingredients
  • 1 gallon cold water (5 and 1/3 cups for 1/3 recipe)
  • 1 cup sugar (1/3 cup for 1/3 recipe)
  • 3 (12 ounce) cans frozen lemonade (1 - 12 ounce can for 1/3 recipe)
  • (NOTE: use pink lemonade if using raspberry sherbet; use regular lemonade if using lemon sherbet)
  • 24 cups lemon-lime soda, well chilled (8 cups for 1/3 recipe)
  • ½ gallon lemon sherbet (1½ pints for 1/3 recipe)

Directions
  1. Mix water, sugar, lemonade and soda in appropriate size punch bowl; stir well to blend all ingredients and dissolve sugar.
  2. Just before serving, cut up the sherbet into smaller pieces and let the pieces float in the punch, stirring to help dissolve the sherbet.
  3. There will be “bits” of sherbet in the punch when you first serve it, but that’s fine...people lucky enough to get some of the bits will be very happy!

This sounds soooooooooo good......

Hey krum, I put this in the "Party Food Group" hope that's ok. Did see you had other recipes in there, and remembered bookmarking this one, so I thought it shouldn't be left out.

My grandaughters Birthday is August 13th so I will serve this. And mine is the 21st so I will have it again!
