Apple And Clementine Moist Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • Apple Mix

  • Put the apples into a bowl and add cinnamon, lemon juice and sugar. Set aside.

  • Cake

  • Beat the eggs and the sugar for 5 minutes.
  • Add the flour and baking powder. Beat again for another 2 minutes.
  • Add melted butter, juice and beat again.
  • Put the batter onto a baking pan and sprinkle the apples on top. See Photo
  • Bake for about 45 minutes. When the cake gets a golden crust and a tooth pick comes out clean it is time to take the cake off the oven. Let it rest for a few minutes and then transfer it to a plate.

  • Clementine Syrup

  • Put the clementine juice and sugar on a pan and bring to a boil. As soon as it starts boiling it is ready.
  • Fork the cake and pour the clementine juice all over.
  • This is a great cake on its own or with a scoop of ice-cream.
