How to make it

  • In pan over medium heat, crumble and cook beef.
  • Drain fat
  • Add taco seasoning and water
  • Bring to boil and reduce heat
  • Simmer until liquid is gone
  • In microwave safe container, add cheese, milk and salsa
  • At 50% power for 30 seconds at a time, melt cheese mixture stirring to combine.
  • On plate, add tortilla chips
  • Top with meat mixture
  • Top with cheese mixture
  • Add topping choices you prefer

    Mmmm Velveeta we make a similar dish often and we call it taco salad. Sometimes we use corn chips in place of the tortilla chips.
