Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat skillet or grill pan over high heat.
  • Drizzle both sides of all tuna pieces with a lil olive oil
  • Sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning.
  • Cook in/on pan for 2 minutes each side, flipping only once.*
  • Let rest at least a minute before building sandwich. It's okay if these get to room temperature before serving... they'll still be great.
  • Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato slices and bacon, and the Dill Mayo, below.
  • For Dill Mayo

  • Combine all ingredients and chill until ready to use.
  • *please note this should produce a rare tuna... if you want it less rare, cook longer, but tuna really is it's best just barely seared on both sides. Any longer than that, and you end up with a dry, much less flavorful result :)

Nice one and as really fresh tuna is cheap as here you got a winner. Like the mayo concoction. RJ
