    What an excellent recipe Cayce, I am definitely going to try this, and I will think about Pat when I drink it! She was a wonderful lady and you had an extra special friendship with her. I'm sure she is beaming with pleasure at your dedication. Carry on developing your recipes!

    My boys would absolutely love this (so would I, of course!) - it sounds absolutely delightful! Kudos to you for the great idea and for the wonderful dedication. Pat was a very special lady. My sons love to develop recipes too! :) I look forward to seeing more of your recipes and sharing them with my boys to keep them inspired in the kitchen.

    He certainly does deserve his own account, Kimmer! Especially since it is so much of a more friendlier place now. Good job, Cayce! I, along with everyone else, thinks the friendship you have with Pat is very special. Cherish it...I think you might have a cooking angel now. :)

    Cayce.....what a great smoothy recipe....and I agree with Michael it needs the protein powder.... but your recipe is what makes the smoothy taste so good....

    you did a wonderful thing by dedicating this recipe to your friend Pat.... she would be very honored...

    Cayce, dear, thank for dedicating this to Pat. She would be very proud of you. I think she liked the flavor of orange in a lot of things and she definitely liked strawberries. This is a healthy yummy start in the morning. It looks just like something I could get my cranky daughter to wake up too. She can't cook at all and she loves smoothies. Maybe she should learn from you? Hugs, dear. I know you had a special friendship with Pat and I'm sure she would encourage you to keep on cooking! Her nickname was pattycookin and she was a good friend to many of us.
