How to make it

  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • Heat about 1/2T butter per sandwich in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the sandwiches by placing one slice of bread, butter side down, in skillet, then add a slice of cheese, bacon, sliced pear, a few spinach leaves, and another piece of cheese. Top with the other slice of bread, butter side out.
  • Cook until bread is golden brown, flip and continue to cook until the other side is also golden brown and cheese has melted.
  • Continue with remaining ingredients until all sandwiches are made.
