How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  • Simmer, stirring occasionally until mixture is thick and jam-like, about 20 minutes.
  • Remove cinnamon sticks.
  • Cool and store in refrigerator.

    Very yummy. I made this last night. My only problem is that I didn't chop the figs finely enough. So there's fig skins in the jam. Next time I make this, I think I'll be throwing all the figs in a blender.
