How to make it

  • For Tarragon Sauce

  • Combine all ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use
  • For Burgers

  • Combine ground meat, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, maple concentrate, mustard, hot sauce, butter and salt and pepper and mix well, but careful not to "over mix"
  • Shape into 6 1/3lb burgers patties
  • Wrap a piece of bacon around each patty, securing with water soaked toothpicks, if needed
  • Grill burgers until done to preferred liking(we don't like them over medium, so they only cook a few minutes/side over a hot grill)
  • Add a slice of cheese at the end of cooking time just to let it melt.
  • Build burgers with all the condiments desired, top with an egg, and the tarragon sauce.
  • * alternately, just cook the bacon til crisp and serve it on the burgers instead of wrapping around them!
