Ingredients

How to make it

  • Remove husks and silk from corn.
  • Bring water to a rolling boil, add corn.
  • Cook for 3 minutes once water has come back to a boil.
  • Remove corn from water.
  • Slice the corn off each cob. This is the tricky part, as it is still hot, try using tongs. Try to get chunks of corn, for the presentation.
  • Gently toss with basil, cayenne, and enough butter to coat.

I love fresh basil and always have some in my garden. The season for corn and basil is now about over, even here in Florida, but I'm going to bookmark this recipe for next year.
