Sauteed string beans with tomatoes and olives

- 1 pound string beans-either frozen french cut or fresh haricot verts shopping list
- 1 medium tomato-chopped shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic-chopped shopping list
- 1 small onion chopped shopping list
- 6-10 kalamata olives-pitted and roughly chopped shopping list
- fresh basil torn in pieces shopping list
- 2 TBSP olive oil shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a saute pan.
- Add onions and saute until softened
- Add garlic and tomatoes, saute until tomatoes begin to melt.
- Stir in olives and add string beans.
- Mix well.
- Cover and let cook until beans are tender, stirring ocassionally.
- Add salt to taste if necessary.

Great recipe! I can't imagine why the olives would be optional. Afterall, they would add so much flavor to the recipe. Thank you for a new great side dish!
