- * 2 sticks butter shopping list
- * 1 cup sugar shopping list
- * 1 sleeve saltines shopping list
- * 12 oz. chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
- Arrange the saltines in a single layer.
- Cook the butter and sugar in a pan until well mixed, frothy and thick.
- About 5-8 minutes.
- Pour over saltines and spread evenly to cover all the saltines.
- Bake at 350 for 8 -10 minutes.
- Remove when very bubbly and *before they look done*.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the saltines and return them to the oven for about a minute.
- Then remove from oven to spread the melting chocolate to cover the whole pan of saltines. Let pan cool for a few minutes...
- Refrigerate until firm.
- Break into pieces and enjoy.
- :) They'll be gone in a flash!
- Great with a glass of Milk or Coffee.
