How to make it

  • In a bowl, grate the cheese and add the butter.
  • Cream well, then add salt and cayenne pepper.
  • Work the flour until well blended.
  • Roll onto a board and smooth.
  • Roll into a long thin roll. Wrap with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  • Slice into thin slices.
  • Place on a cookie sheet coated with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Bake at 350° until they begin to brown, about 8-10 minutes.
  • If desired, dust some of them with some powdered sugar.
  • Great snack!
