Michigan has a large population of Amish in the lower west side.. I don't think I have ever met a harder working people. Their foods and hand made items are wonderful.. If you are lucky to be able to afford one of their quilts.. you have a priceless item to hand down for years..

Those look good too girl, glad you posted the filling too. Those Amish folks sure do know how to cook. I agree about the quilts, I fell in love with one when I was in Penn. on vacation. Just couldn't afford that one, it was way up there in price but talk about gorgeous, it was a work of art.
