Hey this sounds really good..........thanks Shirley.

I am so close to Amish country that I truly appreciate their contribution to cuisine and I appreciate you for posting this!!!

I enjoy the homemade specialties of the Amish, I have a few recipes that I've enjoyed over the years.. hope you enjoy the Whoopy cookies.

Shirley..... I love whoopie pies so much.... I love these ..they sound awesome...Thanks for the wnderful post...

Yumm! Looks like a good one to try with my daughter - we love em!

Michigan has a large population of Amish in the lower west side.. I don't think I have ever met a harder working people. Their foods and hand made items are wonderful.. If you are lucky to be able to afford one of their quilts.. you have a priceless item to hand down for years..

Those look good too girl, glad you posted the filling too. Those Amish folks sure do know how to cook. I agree about the quilts, I fell in love with one when I was in Penn. on vacation. Just couldn't afford that one, it was way up there in price but talk about gorgeous, it was a work of art.

Hope you make and let me know what you think about it, not everyone likes to use Shortning in their frosting.

Yum!!!!!!

Mr.Bunny will love this! Thank you!
