Peppery Green Olives

- 4 2.5-ounce jars pitted Spanish green olives, drained shopping list
- 3/4 cup vinegar shopping list
- 3/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 6 large cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons crushed dried red chili pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan combine olives, vinegar, oil, garlic, and chili pepper.
- Bring to boiling. Reduce heat, simmer, covered, 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat: cool to room temperature.
- Spoon olives into a jar or plastic container: cover.
- Chill in refrigerator 4 to 7 days before serving.
- Drain olives. Serve at room temperature.
- Makes 25 servings
