How to make it

  • In a saucepan combine olives, vinegar, oil, garlic, and chili pepper.
  • Bring to boiling. Reduce heat, simmer, covered, 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat: cool to room temperature.
  • Spoon olives into a jar or plastic container: cover.
  • Chill in refrigerator 4 to 7 days before serving.
  • Drain olives. Serve at room temperature.
  • Makes 25 servings

    I love olives too. For as long as I can remember, I could sit down with any type of olives and eat them by the jar.

    This sounds perfect to keep stashed in the fridge as my own treat. The oil would be great to dip bread in also. Thanks for posting!
