- 2/3 cup unsalted butter shopping list
- 1 cup milk (don’t use skim, but low-fat works) shopping list
- ½ package graham crackers shopping list
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar shopping list
- 5 tablespoons cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips shopping list
- ¼ cup slivered almonds shopping list
- 1 cup chopped strawberries shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium bowl, melt butter.
- Add the milk and the cocoa to the butter and mix them together, blending well.
- Break the graham crackers into large pieces. Add with the chocolate chips to the milk mixture.
- Mix, but not to a paste (ie. leave cookie chunks).
- Pour out the mixture onto parchment paper or wax paper on a sided baking sheet. Spread evenly with a spatula.
- Sprinkle the almonds and strawberries on the mixture.
- Chill in freezer 30 minutes.
- Lift the parchment paper from both sides and make a pyramid shape by hand.
- Cover all sides with parchment paper and put in the freezer overnight (or for at least 5 hours).
- Take out the dessert at least 10 minutes before serving.
- Cut it into slices.
- Serve cold.
