How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 190 C (375 F)
  • 2. Sift flour and allspice together in a bowl and rub in butter with fingertips until butter resembles breadcrumbs.
  • 3. Add sugar and sultanas and stir until combined.
  • 4. Add the milk, egg and vanilla and stir to combine.
  • 5. Place approx 2 tbspns of mix onto prepared baking trays allowing room for cakes to spread.
  • 6. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden, allow to cool on the trays.
