How to make it

  • Blend cream cheese and butter
  • Add flour
  • Press in ungreased 10-inch pie plate
  • Bake at 350 until brown OR fill with favorite filling and bake according to directions for an entire pie
  • NOTE: Chess pies are very good baked in this pastry

    I'm going to give this a try with my rice flour mix ( I can't have wheat). I really miss having a flaky pie crust.. well maybe I just miss pie!!

    I'm trying to find that "perfect" pie crust - for pies and quiches. I will have to try this one, since I REALLY the kind of crusts that don't require rolling out...so much easier to just "press and fill"! Thanks, Rosemary.
