Caramel Pecan Pie

- 36 individually wrapped caramel candies shopping list
- 1/4 C. water shopping list
- 2/3 C. butter shopping list
- 3/4 C. sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 3 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 C. pecan pieces shopping list
- 9 " unbaked pie shell shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Melt caramels and water in microwave in 15 second intervals.
- Stir after each interval and keep doing this until caramels are melted smooth.
- Combine sugar, salt, eggs, and vanilla.
- Gradually add melted caramel sauce and mix well.
- Stir in pecans.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
- Pie filling will be soft but will firm as it cools.
