Butterscotch Cake Squares Recipe
This recipe was given to me from a woman who told me the angels whispered it in her ear which is why it's so good!!! She was adorable!

Ingredients
  • 1-12 ounce package butterscotch chips
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups chopped nuts
  • 2-8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and butterscotch chips.
  3. When smooth, transfer to a large bowl.
  4. Stir in graham cracker crumbs and nuts until mixture forms crumbs.
  5. Remove 2 cups of mixture for topping.
  6. Press the remaining mixture into a 15x10-inch ungreased baking pan and bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
  7. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar, beating until creamy.
  8. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  9. Blend in flour and vanilla.
  10. Pour evenly over baked crust.
  11. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  12. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
  13. Cool completely.
  14. Cut into squares for serving.
