Mom made these, so did her mother that came over on the "boat" from Yugoslavia (1900). This has been revised due to package noodes, premade bread crumbs and such. But, it is what it is now and its GOOD.

Ingredients
  • 1 12 oz. package egg noodles
  • 4 oz. carton bread crumbs (Italian style works)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Cook noodles as directed on package, drain and add 2 Tablespoons the of butter, stir to melt.
  2. Season with pepper.
  3. Sprinkle about half of bread crumbs over noodles, shake to mix.
  4. Melt 2 Tablesppons of the butter in fry pan on medium high.
  5. Toss in noodles fry for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add last of butter, turn noodes and add rest of bread crumbs.
  7. Cook another 10 minutes turning and stirring the noodles to brown evenly.
