Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a bowl, combine cheeses, flour, nutmeg and white pepper.
  • Toss well.
  • In a heavy saucepan over low heat, bring 1 cup white wine and garlic to a simmer.
  • Add the cheese mixture by handfuls, whisking until melted and smooth.
  • Mix in remaining wine by tablespoons to reach desired consistency.
  • Serve in a fondue pot over heat with bread for dipping OR use as a
  • topping for vegetables, pasta or potatoes.

    Oh, I love fondue. My favorite place to eat is the Melting Pot but it is very very expensive. Do you have to have the wine? Can I use something else instead?
