Warm Garlic Cheese

- 1 pound swiss cheese, grated shopping list
- 3/4 pound Guyère cheese, grated shopping list
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper shopping list
- 1-1/4 cups dry white wine shopping list
- 3 large cloves of garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 pound crusty French bread loaf, cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl, combine cheeses, flour, nutmeg and white pepper.
- Toss well.
- In a heavy saucepan over low heat, bring 1 cup white wine and garlic to a simmer.
- Add the cheese mixture by handfuls, whisking until melted and smooth.
- Mix in remaining wine by tablespoons to reach desired consistency.
- Serve in a fondue pot over heat with bread for dipping OR use as a
- topping for vegetables, pasta or potatoes.
