Ingredients
  • 4 thinly sliced Vidalia onions
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt

Directions
  1. Combine sugar, vinegar, and water.
  2. Marinate onions in this marinade for 2 hours in refrigerator.
  3. Drain well.
  4. Combine mayonnaise and celery salt.
  5. Combine onions and mayonnaise mixture.
  6. Serve over crackers.
