I have always liked mushrooms, especially Portobello. This is one great sandwich. Taken from Cooking Light 1999, 5-ingredient, 15-minute book.

If you want to go the extra mile, you can roast your own peppers either over hot coals or in the broiler oven. And maybe for that special touch, make your own buns. Chefjeb has a good bun recipe and there is another likely bun recipe in here that I haven't tried yet.

I had a sandwich like this one in a quaint little restaurant here in Michigan called "Sweet Lorraines." I don't know how it was made but this is close to what I tasted. It was so good and very filling. Thanks for sharing.

Yummy, loved the grilled portobello, especially with the provolone. Good stuff.

Have to say it again. This is one great sandwich. Finally took the time to make a picture. My buns were a little on the small side.

Beautiful pic, Points! I always thought for some reason in portobello sandwiches the mushrooms WERE the buns. Never had one. Sounds good though. ;')
