How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, white sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa.
  • Stir in oil, vanilla and milk until smooth. Spread mixture in a 1 quart baking dish.
  • Stir together brown sugar, 1 tablespoon cocoa and boiling water. Pour over pudding mixture in baking dish.
  • Bake in preheated oven 30 to 45 minutes

    I have to say, I was a little grossed out by the sounds and looks of this one. I had to use up some leftover buttermilk though, so I gave this a shot. OMG! SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD! I love it! Thanks for the recipe!

    Yer hurtin me here, Jo_jo_ba! I'm in the middle of trying to make Tnacndn's Pineapple Upside Down Biscuits, nursing an impacted "wisdoom" tooth, and drooling over this now! You guys are just plain...cruel!
