From kk_chasey 16 years agoIngredients
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 4 2/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 packages active dry yeast shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 F 10 minutes before the rolls are ready to be baked.
- Heat the milk and butter until very warm, about 120F. Remove from heat. Stir until butter melts.
- Combine 1 2/3 cups flour and the sugar, salt, and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the warm liquids to the flour mixture. Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Gradually add 2/3 cup of flour and the eggs. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Add remaining flour. Mix well. The batter wil be thick.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm, draft-free place until double in bulk, 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
