Baked Mushroom Supreme

- 1 lbs. of fresh white button mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 lbs of crimini or baby bella mushrooms shopping list
- 1 teas salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup of softened unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/4 teas of cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/4 teas of nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of parsley shopping list
- 3 tablespoons of grated onion shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 tablepoon of flour shopping list
- 1/3 cup of brandy or dry sherry shopping list
- 1 cup of heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- Wipe the mushrooms. Halve the mushrooms, place in a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole.
- Combine softened butter, with salt, cayenne, nutmeg, parsley, onion, mustard and flour.
- Dot butter over mushrooms; stir the brandy and cream together and pour over the seasoned mushrooms.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 60 minutes.
