Delicious mushrooms, as a side to steak, absolutely awesome. Very easy, no stir, no tending over a pot.

Ingredients
  • 1 lbs. of fresh white button mushrooms
  • 1/2 lbs of crimini or baby bella mushrooms
  • 1 teas salt
  • 1/3 cup of softened unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teas of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teas of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 3 tablespoons of grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablepoons of flour
  • 1 cup of heavy cream

Directions
  1. Wipe the mushrooms. Halve the mushrooms, place in a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  2. Combine softened butter, with salt, cayenne, nutmeg, parsley, onion, mustard and flour.
  3. Dot butter over mushrooms; pour heavy cream over all.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 60 minutes.
