How to make it

  • Wipe the mushrooms. Halve the mushrooms, place in a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  • Combine softened butter, with salt, cayenne, nutmeg, parsley, onion, mustard and flour.
  • Dot butter over mushrooms; stir the brandy and cream together and pour over the seasoned mushrooms.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 60 minutes.
