Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

- Fudge Truffle cheesecake shopping list
- chocolate Crumb Crust shopping list
- 3 (8oz) packages cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1(14oz) can Eage Brand sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1(12oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips, or 8 (1oz)squares semi-sweet chocolate, melted shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract shopping list
- ******If you want more chocolate, TOPPING: shopping list
- 1-1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/4 c. whipping cream shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Chocolate Crumb Crust
- In a medium bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs (about 45 wafers), 6 tablespoons confectioners sugar, 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa and 1/3 cup oleo melted. Press firmly on bottom and 1/2" up side of a 9" springform pan.
- Procedure
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Prepare Chocolate Crumb Crust. In large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 5 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Chill. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate
- *** If you want more chocolate, TOPPING:
- Melt chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in cream and vanilla; mix well. Spread over filling. Refrigerate overnight. Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen. Remove sides of pan.
- Just before serving, garnish with whipped cream and miniature chocolate kisses if desired.
