I prefer sweet and savory chicken wings over spicy ones. I think these chicken wings are right up there.

This recipe makes me wish I wasn't a vegetarian! I would sure jump on it and try it...maybe I'll try it for my husband, he eats meat and he eats my vegetarian foods...he just eats!!!

Ohhhhh, I'm so sorry you can't enjoy these chicken wings. How about using firm tofu and marinating it in the mixture then deep frying it. Now there's a thought.

You're absolutely right to be skittish -- food safety requires you to boil the marinade you've had raw meat in, if you're going to reuse it. :) seems like you could just double the marinade and then reserve a bit of it for brushing, though. i'm not sure if that's what you meant by making two batches, or if you just make it over again once the chicken has marinated.

Hi there Heather and yes, that is exactly what I do. I double up! I can't imagine making separate batches of the same marinade for the same recipe ;-) I never take chances and especially when it comes to food. Thank you for your comments.

This is similar to how I make my wings. If you've never tried Tiger Sauce, give it a try in place of the Tabasco. It's a sweet/hot sauce.

I've never tried Tiger Sauce but I'll look for it. Is it sold in the typical grocery stores or in Asian food markets? Thank you for the suggestion Mellian ;-)

Just read your recipe and it looks terrific! Love the soy-honey-molasses combo you've got going! My husband and I really enjoy chicken wings and will definitely give this a try very soon.

These wings were really very very good! I made them without deviating and they turned out very succulent and tasty! I withheld a little of the sauce to use to brush onto the wings....but as I thought about it, I bet you could remove the chicken wings from the marinade, and put the marinade into a saucepan and boil it and it would be perfectly safe to brush onto the wings when baking....what do you think? This recipe is a keeper. Thanks!

I 4got to tell you that I rate this 5 forks.

I gave you a five. This recipe is the best. I found it by accident reading your comment on another wing recipe. I quickly perused all your listed recipes and am so impressed. I'll be back again for more because everything looks so good!
