This will make a beautiful show on a green or red platter or a clear one with red/green decorations. Makes a lovely centerpiece. Has to be a little browner than picture so moved time from 25 to 30 in oven. Just follow the additional pictures.

Ingredients
  • 2 cans Philsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 5-oz. can white chicken meat, drained
  • 1 cup brocolli florets, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (don't add water)
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Put these ingredients in a bowl and gently fold in.

Directions
  1. Arrange your triangles in a big star,
  2. Stoneware is not essential.
  3. You can use a plain old flat cookie sheet, but I think stoneware cooks things more evenly.
  4. Now you are going to roll it out a bit flatter, so that you don't end up eating blobs of uncooked crescent roll dough (not tasty).
  5. Make sure you still have a hole in the middle when you're done. Also, don't worry about rolling the points, just the center.
  6. Now you're going spread the filling
  7. Finally, wrap your points the the center, brush a bit of egg white on the crust, and put it in the PREHEATED oven @350 D.F for 25 to 30 minutes.

Wow, I like this idea! It is so pretty too.

Love this! Great idea about turkey left overs,
Only problem I have is the Philsbury Crescent Rolls!
I have not seen them here in England :-(

Great posting Mystic..You are the best in step by step making.

I made this for my family..they really liked it. I added fresh mushrooms it was really tastey. I however did not see anywhere on here, what temperature it should be baked at. I think maybe next time I might steam the veggies a bit before I add them. Just because we don't care for really crunchy veggies. Thanks for the new dish...eating the same old stuff gets boring!

Way cool!! Just took the christmas bird apart(husband has bad cold for last few days, usu. his job to deal with "animal parts"!!) This will take care of a few meals!! It is gorgeous, great presentation!! thanks!! 5555555
