Mozzarella Meat Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

1 egg

3/4 cup cracker crumbs

1/2 cup chopped onions

2 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

1 1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp. oregano

Directions

Preheat oven to 350*

Mix all ingredients (except cheese).

Shape into a rectangle 10x12 inches.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Roll it up like a jelly roll and seal ends.

Bake in a shallow dish 1 hour.

Ketchup can be spread on top of loaf for the last 15 minutes of cooking.

Ketchup is must! The first time I made this we didn't have any, and it was very dry. Even just adding ketchup to dip in (let alone "glaze") made all the difference in the world.
