Jewish Potatoe Pancake

- 1 large grated potatoe per person shopping list
- 1 grated onion per 4 to 6 potatoes shopping list
- 1 egg per 4 to 6 potatoes shopping list
- 1 tes. salt shopping list
- Matza Meal or crushed saltines to make batter. shopping list
How to make it
- Drain excess moisture from grated potatoes and onion.
- Add eggs, salt and meal/crackers to the potatoes and onion to make batter.
- Fry (about the size of 3 in. pancake) in hot oil until brown.
- Keep warm in oven.
- Serve with Sour Cream and Applesauce.

Never had them done quite this way, but have had the german potatoe pancakes which are fairly similar. Sounds good :)
