Cabbage Creole

- 1 head of cabbage shopping list
- 1/2 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 lb ground pork sausage shopping list
- 1 lg onion (chopped) shopping list
- 1 bell pepper (chopped) shopping list
- 1 can rotel diced tomatoes and chillies ( hot or mild) shopping list
- 1 can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup shopping list
How to make it
- Brown ground beef, sausage, onion and peppers in a skillet and drain, then put in a large pot
- Cut up cabbage and add to pot with meat
- Add cheddar cheese soup, Rotel, tomatoes, and fill with water to cover cabbage
- Cook on medium heat for one hour or until the desired tenderness
- You can change the amounts of ingredients to your tast. My wife uses 2 cans of hot Rotel and 2 cans cheddar cheese soup.

Looks good! I think I'll sub ground chicken breast for the other meats and cream of chicken or mushroom (low-fat versions) for the cheese soup...it is just what I have in the pantry. Thanks for the great idea!
