A tender moist cookie that came from my Mom's womens' group's cookbook in Kansas circa 1940. I've made these often through the years and I'm always pleased when I rediscover the recipe and make them again. An unexpected flavor for a cookie.

I love pineapple and these sound great. Do you drain the pineapple?

I made a version of these yesterday that calls for brown sugar instead of white, and they are very nice cookies. I thought they'd be excellent for potluck or church supper.
