Mock Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix all above ingredients with a whisk and pour into cake pan.
  • Sprinkle cake mix (dry) evenly over the top of mixture.
  • Lay pecans on to to taste.
  • cover entire top with thin slices of butter
  • bake 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour.
  • This is so good, I'm going home to make some.

    The butter goes on top. Not sure oil would work. Go with a healthy choice butter with no trans fat. Also a low fat evaporated milk would help.

    Oh, it does sound good, but definitely artery-clogging! I think I might try it with only one stick of butter. If that's not enough, maybe subbing a little monounsaturated oil for some of it would work.
