This is a wonderful pumpkin pie in a cake recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- pinch salt
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- pecans
- 2 sticks of butter
Directions
- Mix all above ingredients with a whisk and pour into cake pan.
- Sprinkle cake mix (dry) evenly over the top of mixture.
- Lay pecans on to to taste.
- cover entire top with thin slices of butter
- bake 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour.
- This is so good, I'm going home to make some.

Oh, it does sound good, but definitely artery-clogging! I think I might try it with only one stick of butter. If that's not enough, maybe subbing a little monounsaturated oil for some of it would work.

The butter goes on top. Not sure oil would work. Go with a healthy choice butter with no trans fat. Also a low fat evaporated milk would help.
