Ingredients
  • Puff Pastry
  • 8 oz Ham
  • 4 oz Bacon/Chicken
  • 2 oz mushrooms
  • 1 oz white bread
  • 2 sprigs parsley
  • 1 small sliced onion
  • 11/2 oz margarine
  • 1 Tbsp Ketchup
  • seasoning
  • oil for frying

Directions
  1. Finely mince the ham and the bacon/chicken, bread, parsley, mushrooms and onion.
  2. Stir fry for 5 minutes in the butter and add ketchup and season. You can make this spicy or not depending on your guests.
  3. Cut pastry to a 12" square and cut this into 16 squares.
  4. Put a dessertspoon of the filling into centre of 8 squares.
  5. Use remaining 8 squares to cover and seal edges.
  6. Fry in hot oil until golden. Serve immediately.

Usually i cook empanada de lomo or empanadillas de atún. This weekend i will try to cook your recipe. Ham, mushrooms, chicken... parece rico. ¿Qué tal al horno en vez de fritas? De nuvo, gracias.


I'm such a sucker for bacon and mushrooms. Nothing that I can remotely object to in this recipe, in other words, LOVE it! Got my 5. Thanks for sharing.
