Crack Recipe
This recipe is from a friend of mine. She made these bars for us at work and everybody loved them.

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks of butter (not margarine)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 sleeve of saltine crackers
  • 1 package of chocolate chips
  • 1 package of peanut butter chips

Directions
  1. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Layer saltine cracker on cookie sheet lined with foil.
  3. Combine butter and sugar in saucepan. Heat over medium heat stirring until it comes to a boil.
  4. Pour butter and sugar mixture on top of crackers, spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes until light golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate and peanut butter chips on top. Place back in oven until melted enough to spread.
  7. Let cool. “Crack” into pieces.

Interesting. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only time I bake and make candy. Have to try this.


Sounds kinda like my Ritz Toffee Treats. So YummY!
