Christmas Strawberries

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. shredded coconut shopping list
- 5 oz. walnuts (about 1-1/4 cups) shopping list
- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk 2 Tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 1 (3 oz. pkg.) strawberry Jell-O ® shopping list
- red and green colored sugars shopping list
How to make it
- In a food processor or blender mix together coconut and nuts. Place in large mixing bowl.
- Combine dry Jell-O ®, sugar and milk. Pour over coconut mixture. Mix well.
- Take about a teaspoon of mixture and shape into a strawberry. (I roll in a ball first then shape) The trick to these is to not make them too big or it will take away the strawberry effect.
- Gently roll in red sugar, then dip top of strawberry into green sugar. Place on a waxed paper covered cookie sheet to dry overnight.
- Store in airtight container. These freeze well.
- Makes about 5 or 6 dozen.
- * Note* These are sticky. Wet hands a bit before shaping.
