Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a food processor or blender mix together coconut and nuts. Place in large mixing bowl.
  • Combine dry Jell-O ®, sugar and milk. Pour over coconut mixture. Mix well.
  • Take about a teaspoon of mixture and shape into a strawberry. (I roll in a ball first then shape) The trick to these is to not make them too big or it will take away the strawberry effect.
  • Gently roll in red sugar, then dip top of strawberry into green sugar. Place on a waxed paper covered cookie sheet to dry overnight.
  • Store in airtight container. These freeze well.
  • Makes about 5 or 6 dozen.
  • * Note* These are sticky. Wet hands a bit before shaping.
