Ingredients
  • Serves 8 (3/4 cup)
  • 2 cups (one 16-ounce can) cut green beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups (one 16-ounce can) cut wax beans, rinsed and drained
  • 10 ounces (one 16-ounce can )red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup Kraft Fat Free Italian Dressing
  • 1 tablespoon sugar of Splenda (or to taste)

Directions
  1. In a large bowl, combine green beans, wax beans, kidney beans, onion, and
  2. green pepper. Add Italian dressing and sugar substitute. Mix well to
  3. combine.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Gently stir again just
  5. before serving.
  6. Each serving equals:
  7. HE:1 1/4 Vegetable.2/3 Protein.9 Optional Calories
  8. 52 Calories. 0 gm Fat. 2 gm Protein. 11 gm Carbohydrate. 242 mg Sodium.
  9. 29 mg
  10. Calcium. 3 gm Fiber
  11. Diabetic: 1 Vegetable. 1/2 Starch/Carbohydrate

I really like this type of salad, since I try to cut-down my daily carbs intake. Onion is a nice addition, will add crispness to salad. Thanks.
