Italian Chicken With Artichoke Hearts And Linguine Recipe
Modified from one of my cookbooks! We love this! Can also bake in the oven, but I like this one in the electric skillet the best! Serve with salad and garlic bread!

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breats, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 white onion, diced
  • seasoned salt garlic pepper
  • italian seasoning
  • one package onion soup mix
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 1 - 15 oz can tomato sacue
  • 1 - 8 oz can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 - 4 oz can ripe olives, drained
  • 1 - 12 - oz jar artichoke hearts, drained
  • 1 - 8 oz bottle Creamy Italian Dressing
  • 1 - 8 oz package linguine
  • Grated Parmesan
  • EVOO
  • Margarine

Directions
  1. Drizzle large electric skillet (or stovetop) with EVOO, add pad of margarine
  2. Saute together chicken and onion
  3. Sprinkle with seasoned salt, garlic pepper, onion soup mix, and italian seasoning while cooking
  4. Deglaze with wine
  5. Add mushrooms, olives, and arthichoke hearts
  6. Stir together and bring to simmer
  7. Mix together tomato sauce and italian dressing
  8. Add to pot
  9. Continue to simmer together while linguine cooks
  10. Boil linguine with EVOO and margarine according to package directions, in water that has been well salted
  11. Drain and rinse
  12. Serve with pasta
  13. Top with Parmesan Cheese

This sounds like a very interesting recipe! I don't think I've ever mixed tomato sauce with creamy italian dressing! You've got me so curious! I'm saving this...Thanks for showing us this one Sparow!
