Taco Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 can crescent rolls

1 1b. ground beef

1 pkg. taco seasoning

16 oz. sour cream

8 oz. jar salsa (optional)

8 oz. shredded Mexican blend cheese

1.25 oz. bag Fritos, crushed

Directions

1.Brown and drain the ground beef.

2.Mix in the taco seasoning with 2/3 c. water and simmer.

3.Meanwhile, roll out the crescent rolls and cut into 1/4 inch wide strips.

4.In an 8 x 8" baking dish form a crust on the bottom and sides of the pan. Bake according to package directions.

5.After the crust is done, turn the oven to 350 degrees. Layer remaining ingredients in the following order:

Ground beef

Salsa (if using)

Sour cream

Cheese

Fritos

Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts and pie is heated through.

* To make in a 9” x 13” baking dish, I double ingredients for everything except the salsa and sour cream.
