Spiced Greek Olives

- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 3 sprigs each fresh rosemary and thyme shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. whole peppercorns shopping list
- Grated peel and juice of 1/2 lemon shopping list
- 1 (7 oz.) jar Spanish olives, drained shopping list
How to make it
- In saucepan, combine olive oil, herb sprigs, garlic and peppercorns.
- Set over low heat just until seasonings become fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and peel.
- Place olives in shallow dish.
- Pour warm oil and seasonings over olives and toss gently.
- Cover and let stand at least 2 hours before serving.
- Store in refrigerator up to two weeks in a covered jar (shake occasionally).
