- 2 CUPS rollED oatES shopping list
- 1/4 CUP sugar shopping list
- 4 TSP. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 TSP salt shopping list
- 1/2 CUP currants shopping list
- 1 egg-BEATEN shopping list
- 1/2 CUP unsalted butter-MELTED shopping list
- 1/3 CUP milk shopping list
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 425F. shopping list
How to make it
- COMBINE FLOUR,OATES,SUGAR,BAKING POWDER,SALT AND CURANTS IN A LARGE BOWL,MIX WELL.
- MAKE A WELL IN THE CENTER
- BEAT EGG TILL FROSTY,MIX WITH MELTED BUTTER AND MILK
- POUR INTO WELL AND STIR TO MAKE A SOFT DOUGH
- DIVIDE IN HALH AND PAT INTO 2 6"-7" CIRCLES
- SCORE EACH TOP INTO 8 WEDGES
- BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES,UNTIL RISEN AND BROWNED
- SERVE WITH BUTTER & JAM OR WITH LEMON CURD.
