Old fashioned Sourdough Pancakes and fruit sauce, what more could you want for Breakfast! From Recipe Club on the Net.

Ingredients
- Sourdough Pancakes with Fruit Sauce
- The night before stir together:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 package yeast
- Cover with wax paper; let sit overnight on the counter. Next morning
- add:
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp baking soda which has been dissolved in 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Mix well and cook on a hot gridle.
- Fruit Sauce
- 1 apple chopped
- 1 pear chopped
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Directions
- In medium saucepan, combine apple, pear, orange juice, honey. Over
- medium heat, bring mixture to a boil; stirring occasionally. Reduce
- heat; simmer 8 to 10 minutes, until fruit is tender. In small bowl,
- combine cornstarch and water, stirring until cornstarch is dissolved.
- Stir into hot mixture; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes until mixture is
- thickened.
- Or just use fresh fruit, like Strawberries
