Ingredients

Sourdough Pancakes with Fruit Sauce

The night before stir together:

2 cups flour

2 cups warm water

1 package yeast

Cover with wax paper; let sit overnight on the counter. Next morning

add:

1 egg

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp baking soda which has been dissolved in 1 tbsp water

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp sugar

Mix well and cook on a hot gridle.

Fruit Sauce

1 apple chopped

1 pear chopped

1 cup orange juice

1/3 cup honey

1 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 cup water

Directions

In medium saucepan, combine apple, pear, orange juice, honey. Over

medium heat, bring mixture to a boil; stirring occasionally. Reduce

heat; simmer 8 to 10 minutes, until fruit is tender. In small bowl,

combine cornstarch and water, stirring until cornstarch is dissolved.

Stir into hot mixture; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes until mixture is

thickened.

Or just use fresh fruit, like Strawberries
