How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a bowl, combine blueberries, sweetened condensed milk and peel.
  • 2. In large bowl, cut 3/4 c. butter into 1 1/2 c. biscuit mix until crumbly; add blueberry mixture. Spread in greased 8-inch square baking pan.
  • 3. In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 c. biscuit mix and sugar; cut in remaining 2 T. butter until crumbly. Add nuts. Sprinkle over cobbler.
  • 4. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and blueberry sauce. Refrigerate leftovers.
  • Directions for Blueberry Sauce:
  • In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstartch, cinnamon and nutmeg. Gradually add water. Cook and stir until thickened. Stir in 1 pint blueberries; cook and stir until hot.
