Festive Layered Salad

- 8 ounces of lettuce, salad greens, etc shopping list
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1 pound frozen baby peas, defrosted shopping list
- 1 red onion chopped shopping list
- 2 cans of sliced water chestnuts, drained shopping list
- 1 large red bell pepper, chopped shopping list
- 3-4 stalks of celery, sliced shopping list
- 8-16 ounces bacon, fried and crumbled shopping list
- 3-4 hard boiled eggs, chopped shopping list
- 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- Dressing: shopping list
- 1 cup mayo shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried basil shopping list
- 1/2 t garlic powder shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon sugar shopping list
- salt and pepper, to taste shopping list
- Combine, set aside shopping list
How to make it
- Layer ingredients in order given, except pour dressing over last layer before adding cheese.
- Cover, let sit in the refrigerator at least 8 hours before serving.
