Slow Cooker Fall Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 thick pork chops
  • 2 medium acorn squash
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 3/4 tsp. kitchen bouquet
  • 1 Tbs. orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp. orange zest

Directions
  1. trim excess fat from chops
  2. cut each squash into 4-5 crossways slices
  3. arrange 3 chops on bottom of crockpot
  4. place all squash slices on top
  5. layer last 3 chops on squash
  6. combine rest of ingredients and spoon over chops
  7. cover and cook on low 6-8 hours(when tender)
  8. serve 2 slices of squash on each chop

SOunds great!! Good for a snowy day like today..but my husband is bb ribs! He will be on the deck with 5 feet of snow...it won't stop him!
