  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.

  4. Process until well blended.
  5. Transfer to bowl; cover.
  6. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  7. Meanwhile, roll out each block of puff pastry on floured surface to 14-inch square.

  15. Press edges together to seal.
  16. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to neatly trim edge of dough.

  18. Brush dough with remaining egg.
  19. Bake 35 min. or until golden brown.
  20. Cool completely before cutting into wedges to serve.
  21. Ready in approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes
  22. Variation:
  23. Candied citrus peel can be found in the baking section of most grocery stores.
  24. If you cannot find it, use the grated peel of 1 orange instead.
  25. How to Easily Cut the Pastry Circles
  26. Place inverted bowl on pastry.
  27. Trace around bowl with small sharp knife to cut out each dough circle. (Top rim of bowl should measure 12 inches in order to get the proper-size pastry circle.)

Looks wonderful! I love your new avatar.

My ex-husband's family really celebrate the Day of the Three Kings. Even though I got rid of the husband, I am keeping some of the traditions alive for my sons...this sounds like something great to serve them after church that day!! Thanks for posting it!
